Consulting giant Deloitte has launched a pay-as-you-go offering aimed at helping organizations accelerate their AI roadmaps.

The company said ReadyAI “brings together skilled AI specialists and managed services in a flexible AI-as-a-service model designed to help clients scale AI throughout their organizations.”

The new service includes data preparation, analytics capabilities, model development, and model management. Deloitte’s ReadyAI will also look to aid design of deployment architectures and pipelines.

Nitin Mittal, AI co-leader and principal at Deloitte, commented, "Human and machine collaboration is taking organizations to new heights. While AI adoption is accelerating, many organizations struggle to scale their AI projects.”

"ReadyAI provides the flexible and scalable capabilities that these companies need to successfully become AI-fueled organizations."

Mittal was named AI Innovator of the Year at the AI Summit New York in November 2019.

ReadyAI teams were designed to operate as an extension of clients' teams for six months or more. Related services are available via a subscription model.

Deloitte suggested that many organizations looking to deploy AI are struggling with limited access to specialized talent, slow development cycles, and the resources required to continuously maintain AI models.

Last September, the firm reported that the majority of chief strategy officers at large enterprises believe their organizations are incapable of fully leveraging the potential of new technologies, such as AI.

"ReadyAI helps clients take AI all the way from labs and pilot programs to real-life business integration and adoption," Rohit Tandon, general manager for ReadyAI, said.

The announcement comes after Deloitte joined forces with Nvidia to open a supercomputing lab designed to accelerate the deployment of AI-based solutions for its clients.
