With more than 50 out-of-the-box use cases

IT services and consulting provider HCL Technologies has launched DRYiCE AEX, a collection of workplace tools designed to increase employee productivity through automation.

AEX, or AI-Driven and Automation-Powered Employee Experience, includes a cognitive virtual assistant, end-point remediation, proactive monitoring, and an enterprise digital marketplace.

The Indian firm said AEX “transforms employee experience and fosters productivity while optimizing costs through AI, automation, and self-help capabilities.”

Based in Uttar Pradesh, HCL was founded in 1976 by Shiv Nadar, one of India’s richest men, worth a reported $26.5 billion. Today, it is the country’s third-largest software services provider by market cap, according to Forbes.

Nadar stepped down as HCL chair last July, handing the reigns to his daughter, Roshni Nadar Malhotra.

The new DRYiCE AEX product includes real-time monitoring of end-user computing (EUC) data in order to provide visibility into user’s digital experience and enable predictive analytics, and contextual feedback.

It comes with over 50 out-of-box use cases, according to HCL, as well as pre-configured customer-tested IT and business catalogs. The software can be integrated with standard service management tools.

A few weeks prior, HCL was selected as a launch partner for Microsoft’s recently announced industry cloud – Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services.

It also brought its Digital Experience (DX) and Unica Marketing cloud-native platforms to Google Cloud back in March.
