AI open platform provider Fetch.ai has launched a new innovation hub to boost the development of AI agent solutions for businesses.

The new lab will be a catalyst for developing this technology and the solutions that deliver tangible value to businesses and consumers worldwide, the company said.

In particular, the hub is designed to support and scale applications that are readily adoptable by both businesses and consumers.

It will provide a comprehensive suite of resources, including funding, expert mentorship, and strategic support, helping founders navigate the complexities of AI development with confidence, the company said. There will also be competitions and fast-track development opportunities.

Fetch.ai is backing up the San Francisco based lab with a commitment of $10 million annually to fund projects specifically focused on building AI agent solutions that leverage Fetch.ai’s tech stack.

Fetch.ai is an open platform that provides tools to build AI apps and services; its key product is DeltaV, which fuses Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agents to create an open marketplace that connects users to services.

Company CEO Humayun Sheikh said the lab will bring world-class institutions, research teams, and businesses together to nurture innovation and accelerate the development of impactful, AI-driven solutions.

“We aim to fund and support projects that bridge the gap between research and market, delivering tangible advancements that revolutionize industries through the power of AI agents,” he said.

As part of this latest launch, the company is also introducing the Ambassador Innovator Club, an initiative setup to cultivate innovation within the Fetch.ai ecosystem. It hopes to support so-called ambassadors and innovators to develop new applications using Fetch.ai’s AI agents. Members of the club will have access to support, and networking opportunities, and it will host hackathons, code nights and workshops.

Another key component is the Internship Incubator Program designed to “engage exceptional individuals” in high-impact projects, providing experience and resources to accelerate their careers in AI and innovation.
