Executives from GM and BP will discuss this topic in a panel at the upcoming AI Summit Austin.

The worlds of AI and IoT are converging — and business should be ready to take advantage of this synergy.

At the AI Summit Austin, which will be held on Nov. 2 to 3 in Austin, Texas, a conference panel will discuss how to unlock the value of IoT and AI for business. 

Topics to be discussed are the following:

  • Overcoming silos and convergence of different skills, overcoming differences in mindset and workflow of roles

  • Using AI models and predictive analytics to reduce costs

Speakers are Katie DeGraaf, senior vice president of product and telematics for OnStar insurance at General Motors and Roger Rohatgi, vice president and global head of design at BP. They will be interviewed by Omdia analyst Andy Brown, who is the IoT practice lead.
