Google Cloud, KonnectAi Team to Bring AI-Powered Quality Inspections to Manufacturers, Hannover Messe 2024

Google Cloud has teamed with KonnectAi to offer AI-powered quality inspection solutions for manufacturers at this year’s Hannover Messe, taking place April 22-26 in Hanover, Germany.

Montreal-based KonnectAi offers visual inspection systems powered by image recognition algorithms manufacturers can deploy to automate quality inspection.

To trace a product, manufacturers can scan a product’s serial number to trace an item. KonnectAi’s platform then displays images taken during the inspection.

The AI-powered solution can be integrated into existing quality inspection workflows and can be deployed on any camera. It can perform a customer sample inspection in just five seconds, the company claims.

Under the partnership, KonnectiAi will use Google Cloud’s development platform to provide manufacturers with improved tools to monitor product quality.

The Canadian company is also leveraging Google Cloud’s suite of data analytics solutions like BigQuery to help customers to gain insights on product checks.
