Before the official start of CES, the Consumer Technology Association, which runs CES, kicks off with an event called Unveiled, in which countless companies introduce their products to the media before any public unveiling at CES, which starts two days later.

While the event is for only accredited journalists, there are thousands of those since they come from around the world.

At this year’s event, which always follows the opening of the Annual Trends to Watch presentation, Unveiled had more attendees and more presenters than in any recent years. The place was packed.

Here is a sampling of what was shown, all of which will be presented at the official CES starting Tuesday.

Smart sensors from SenoSpace. These small devices can in real time track events such as leak detection.

A robotic dog companion called Oro from Ogmen Robotics that can create remote play for a dog.

Wearability products from WIRobotics, including an exoskeleton that assists in making walking easier.

CarePet, a pet bed that continually monitors for disease and preventive activities for pet health.

Hurotics, products worn to facilitate rehabilitation or for sports training.

Kohler, which always shows up with new innovations at every CES, is introducing a shower massager, with a removable, rechargeable massaging element.

Battery-connected insoles from SoleCooler to warn of coming blisters.

A security system from Swann that is wireless and solar-powered.

There also were various virtual reality headsets, like at every CES, glasses that did various things, also typically at every CES, and countless other things not likely to be seen at the next CES.
