Nominations for The AIconics AI Innovator of the Year are now open!

The AIconics awards were established in 2016 to recognize the outstanding achievements of individuals, projects, and teams that are responsible for harnessing breakthrough innovations in artificial intelligence.

The Innovator of the Year Awards, part of the AIconics, are a fantastic opportunity to recognize leaders and pioneers who have been instrumental in the implementation of breakthrough innovations in the industry. As a people’s-choice vote for excellence in AI, nominations and voting will be opened up to a universal network of industry leaders.

The awards will showcase projects that have made a significant impact on how businesses operate and run. Through both the solutions implementor and solutions provider categories, we are shining a spotlight on innovators in the field of tech development as well as in implementation.

If you, or someone you know, spearheaded revolutionary AI technology or proved to be pivotal in the implementation of in-house innovation, we want to celebrate your achievements and empower you for future success!

There are two categories:

Solutions provider - For those who have demonstrated the passion, skills, and world-class expertise in developing their AI products for a technology solutions provider

Solutions implementor - For those who have developed in-house innovation through implementing AI to drive meaningful change and business growth

Some of the most innovative AI companies have snatched up the award in previous years, with Ankit Chhajer, AI lead at NatWest, and Dr. Seth Dobrin, chief AI officer at IBM, taking last year’s gongs.

Ankit won the solutions application award. He pioneered the use of conversational AI and robotics across NatWest and supported millions of customers with complex banking needs especially during COVID-19. He leads the strategy and AI team at NatWest that has increased the adoption of our virtual assistant Cora by over 400% and now supporting over 25 million customer conversations.

Dr. Dobrin won the solutions provider award. He created a new methodology for the design and execution of AI strategies at IBM that aims to address the most urgent challenges businesses face today around regulations, trust, AI Ethics, and business value.
